SYDNEY TIMES SUPPORTS GAMBLE AWARE NSW & BANS GAMBLING ADS
Sydney Times Publisher and Custodian Axel Ritenis,.. supports the NSW Gamble Aware Campaign by sharing this important information in the Community interst.
Campaign overview
The GambleAware campaign is designed as a thought starter to encourage people to think about how gambling might be impacting their lives and for those who might be at risk of gambling harm to check out the full range of information, support and treatment options available through GambleAware.
It features relatable scenarios showing how gambling can impact our everyday lives in ways we might not realise and potentially jeopardise relationships, jobs and even our kids. The light-hearted approach is designed to make it more comfortable to think about and talk about gambling.
Key messages
Gambling can affect our lives in ways we don’t realise. Gambling can impact anyone. That’s why we all need to be GambleAware.
The campaign poses three main questions through the creative:
- Are you gambling with your career?
- Are you gambling with your relationship?
- Are you aware gambling exists in kids games?
It then asks people to: Be Aware. Visit GambleAware.
Anyone can visit GambleAware for information or confidential support 24/7.
