Woolworths is gradually rolling out more of these smaller modern stores as the proportion of Australians living in medium to high-density housing grows.It seems the smaller format metro-style stores work well and people who live in those high-density urbanised areas tend to shop more frequently but buy fewer products
Research reveals residents in high density areas are keen on the prospect of salads and other ready-made meals to go.
