One of the key strategic advantages of being in Maroubra is the fact there is a French school i.e. Lyccee Francaise in Maroubra and as he is a Malabar local the location was a natural was a “no brainer:.. Apparently Stephane first arrived in Australia as a backpacker but “I suffered for good bread” while he was here.
Whilst the interior the shop is largely given over to Racks and Ovens and Mixing equipment the front service are offers a small seating area three or four bar stools and a small bench to sit at and consume with your delicious barista standard coffee.Whilst we havent tried it ,.. acording to local information the management are happy and accepting if you want to bring your own (beurre et confit de framboises)butter and jam or buy some Brie or Camembert and Sausage or jamon from the deli nearby, to create your own filled baguettes on the spot!
Stephane’s favourite car, a Citroen Deux Cheveux adorns one wall .
