Headlining at the Kimberley Moon Experience for the first time are exciting indie pop band Lime Cordiale with awarded alt-pop singer songwriter Thelma Plum and Australian music rock legend, Mark Seymour & The Undertow.

Lime Cordiale’s cheeky, infectious sound has taken the indie-pop scene by storm in Australia and abroad where they have sold out shows in New York and London.

Brothers Oli and Louis Leimbach recently released a new album, Enough of the Sweet Talk which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart. The recent sell out Aust and NZ tour delighted tens of thousands of music fans across the county.

The band are as comfortable in front of a massive crowd or a small gathering and are delighted to be making their way to WA for this special event.

Singer, songwriter and musician Thelma Plum uploaded the tracks to Triple J Unearthed in July 2012 when she was just 17 and won the inaugural Triple J’s National Indigenous Unearthed Music competition and was nominated for a Deadly Award for Most Promising New Talent.

A Gamilaraay woman from Delungra in NSW who grew up in Brisbane, Plum’s debut album Better in Blak reached number four in the ARIA charts, and the title track came in the top 10 of Triple J Hottest 100, the highest result ever for an Indigenous artist at that time.

Plum’s moving alt-pop folk-like songs are perfect for swaying under a trillion stars at the Kimberley Moon.

Australian singer songwriter Mark Seymour & The Undertow was nominated for Best Adult Contemporary Album for ‘Undertow’ in 2011, an award he won as a solo artist in 2001. Mark Seymour was founder and frontman of Australian rock band Hunters & Collectors from 1981 to 1998, releasing nine studio albums and inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2005.

A vital part of the new wave scene in Australian music in the 80s, Hunters & Collectors became a national rock institution with hit singles ‘Holy Grail’, ‘Do You See What I See”, ‘When the River Runs Dry’ among many others.

Music is woven throughout the Muster program, including at Art in the Park, Sunday Sounds, and the Fleetwood Mac & the Eagles by Landslide on Thursday, 22 May.

On Wednesday, 21 May, Art in the Park shines a light on Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists with the open-air gallery set to be enhanced with fashion, art therapy, weaving workshops, dance performances, music and more. The blissful Yoga Boat sessions are the perfect start to the day set in the serene Packsaddle Lagoon. Multiple Yoga Boat sessions are held during the Muster.

There is no place like the otherworldly East Kimberley. Filled with ancient, vast plains, thunderous waterfalls, secret swimming holes and gorges taller than skyscrapers, it’s a place that grounds you, and its red dust never leaves you.

The East Kimberley sunsets are beyond beautiful, filling the sky with every shade of yellow, orange and red, like standing inside a living kaleidoscope.

Imagine dining under a galaxy of stars and waking up with a blissful floating yoga session on the majestic Ord River.
