The Sydney Stamp & Coin Expo 2025

Australia’s premier philatelic and numismatic event this year, will take place from Thursday, March 20 to Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the
Wentworth Park Sporting Complex in Glebe.

This four-day national exhibition will bring together collectors, enthusiasts, and experts from across Australia, New Zealand, India,
Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States and beyond, offering a comprehensive showcase of stamps, coins, and
historical memorabilia.


As the only full Australian National exhibition in 2025, the Sydney Stamp & Coin Expo 2025 holds significant national importance. The event will
host the prestigious Australasian Challenge, featuring competitive exhibits from Australian States and Territories, as well as New Zealand.
A highlight of the expo is the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Sydney Views Stamps, Australia’s first postage stamps, issued in NeSouth Wales in January 1850.
The competitive exhibition will feature 113 competitive exhibits, totalling 577 frames.

Event Highlights
National Exhibition: The only full Australian National philatelic exhibition in 2025.
Australasian Challenge: A competitive exhibit showcasing the best of Australian and New Zealand philately.
175th Anniversary of Sydney Views Stamps: A special focus on Australia’s first postage stamps.

Extensive Dealer Marketplace: Over 30 professional stamp and coin dealers from Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, the United Kingdom,
and the United States will be present, offering a wide array of collectibles. Australia Post will be selling special souvenir stamp issues
from its stand on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Limited Edition Philatelic Numismatic Covers (PNCs): Two exclusive overprinted PNCs, the Remembrance PNC and the King’s Birthday
PNC, will be available in extremely limited quantities (100 each), featuring official Sydney postmarks dated March 20, 2025. Special
numbers 1 and 100 of each PNC will be auctioned at the venue on Saturday, March 22 at 3:00 PM.
Exhibits from International Exhibitors: Showcasing rare and valuable stamps from diverse countries and subjects.

Free Entry: Open to the public.
On-site Café: Offering a variety of refreshments.

Transportation
Wentworth Park Sporting Complex is easily accessible by public transport, including the Light Rail L1 line (Wentworth Park stop) and
various bus routes. Ample parking is available, with free parking at the weekend – subject to demand. PNC Sale Information
Remembrance PNC: $80, available from 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 20.
King’s Birthday PNC: $70, available from 3:00 PM, Thursday, March 20.
Limited to one of each PNC per person.
Available at the Philatelic Association of New South Wales (Philas) stand in the entrance foyer.
Payment by cash or credit card (MasterCard or Visa).
