| We’re delighted to announce that acclaimed Academy Award-nominated director, Sofia Coppola, will have her latest film On The Rocks (M) premiere theatrically in Australia at Palace Cinemas!
This film sees the long-awaited reunion of the director with actor Bill Murray, who starred in her Academy Award-winning 2003 film, Lost In Translation, which won Coppola the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and nabbed nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor for Murray.
On The Rocks follows Laura (Rashida Jones), a woman who thinks she’s happily married, but when her husband (Marlon Wayans) starts logging late hours at the office with a new co-worker, Laura begins to fear the worst. So she turns to the one man she suspects may have insight: her charming, impulsive play-boy father Felix (Murray).
On The Rocks will be screening at Palace Cinemas exclusively from October 2, with special Film Connoisseur Galas on opening night (see below), don’t miss it! |
