Job Description:
The Sydney Times News and Lifestyle platform is seeking an experienced and passionate Book Reviewer and Critic to run our Book Category. As a key contributor to our platform, you will be responsible for reviewing and critiquing books, attending launches, and building relationships with publishers.
Responsibilities:
– Book Reviews: Write high-quality reviews and critiques of new and upcoming books, covering a range of genres and topics.
– Book Launches: Attend book launches and events to stay up-to-date with the latest releases and network with publishers and authors.
– Publisher Liaison: Build and maintain relationships with publishers to receive review copies of books and stay informed about upcoming releases.
– Content Creation: Develop and create engaging content for our Book Category, including articles, reviews, and social media posts.
– Advertising and Monetization: Attract advertising to the Book Category and participate in a profit-share model.

Requirements:
– Experience: Proven experience in book reviewing, literary criticism, or a related field.
– Passion for Books: A deep passion for books and the book world, with a keen understanding of literary trends and genres.
– Writing and Communication: Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and informative content.
– Networking: Ability to build and maintain relationships with publishers, authors, and other industry professionals.
– Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities.

Profit-Share Model:
– Revenue Share: We offer a profit-share model, where you will receive a percentage of revenue generated from any advertising you attract in the ST Book Category.
– Terms and Conditions:: The profit-share model will be based on a [50-50] split of revenue generated from advertising.
