Applications are now open for our grants and sponsorships

Got a winning idea that you think will enrich our city? Our grants and sponsorships may be able to help.

You can receive financial support or waived fees for a range of activities.

Apply for a grant

The following grants are open for applications from 8 July to 4pm 12 August:

• Green building grants
• Festival and event sponsorship
• Food support grants
• Innovation and ideas grants

Projects must take place from 1 January 2026.

The following grants are also now open:

• Creative live and work spaces in Ultimo and Waterloo
• Joynton Avenue Creative Centre and Banga Community Shed accommodation grants

The following grants are open all year round, until funding is exhausted:

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander collaboration fund
• Quick response grants
• Dixon Street improvement grant

Information sessions

There’s still time to register for our online briefing sessions, which are open to all. Registration is essential.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander information sessions

• In person information session at 119 Redfern Street 12:30pm, Tuesday 15 July
• Creative live/work spaces (information session for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants) 10am, Thursday 24 July

The session includes a briefing, overview of the priorities, eligibility and general requirements. Registration is essential.
