3 days to the Opening of the Sydney Fair – a once a year event with over 60 dealers from across Australia.   Download your complimentary ticket below for Friday, Saturday and Sunday or Join us for Opening night – limited tickets still available for purchase, please click link below.Since its inception in 2013 The Sydney Fair has grown to become the foremost fair in Australia for Furniture, Jewellery, Art, Design Objects, Vintage Luxury and Fashion from Antique to Modern.  .

Some fabulous events across the weekend, Andy McConnell of the British Roadshow with Some Banter with Andy McConnell, Claudia Chan Shaw with Well Heeled Shoes (courtesy of Arts National), Tom McEvoy exploring the lost Fashion Houses of Australia and some wonderful Vintage Fashions on the Catwalk  with pieces on the theme of Bringing Back Glamour featuring  pieces from Hollywood Actress Raquel Welch.
Everything is for sale and there is something for everyone.

We are excited to announce that Claudia Chan Shaw will be speaking on Sunday 2nd June – Well Heeled Shoes Through Time   – seating is limited.
Lights, Camera, Action.  As part of our “Old Hollywood Glamour theme” for the Fashion Shows, we will be exhibiting some stunning outfits dating from the 1920’s – 1970’s. The Exhibition will showcase outfits reminiscent of the days of the Hollywood Starlets of the 20th Century.

Events at the Fair
Andy McConnell of Antiques Roadshow joins us at 1pm Saturday for a discussion “Banter with Andy McConnell”   Andy best known for his role as the Glass Specialist on Antiques Roadshow started buying and selling antiques from the age of 14, this will be an informal discussion on his career, writing and love of Glass.

Tom McEvoy Fashion Anthropologist and Screenwriter  Lost and Forgotten Australian Fashion Houses

Tom McEvoy is searching for the designs of Australia’s Lost Fashion Houses such as our Mavis Ripper.  She’s the forgotten costume designer of the Australian film industry in the 1930s and designed the costumes for one of the first Aussie films to be in partnership with a Hollywood studio and other Australian Designers. Tom will be talking about Mavis Ripper and other lost designers at 2pm Saturday and Sunday.   For all our Vintage Fashionistas Tom will be in our Vintage Fashion area for you to bring your favourite vintage piece to discover its history.  Times are under events at thesydneyfair.au
