PHIBS, Kraken, and AS Colour: Street Art Meets Streetwear at Newtown on saturday 9 august

Legendary Sydney street artist PHIBS will team up with The Kraken Black Spiced Rum and premium apparel brand AS Colour for a live art activation that fuses street art with streetwear.

On Saturday 9th August, legendary Sydney street artist PHIBS will team up with The Kraken Black Spiced Rum and premium apparel brand AS Colour for a live art activation that fuses street art with streetwear.
Open to anyone aged 18+, Sydneysiders are invited to drop in to AS Colour Newtown from 12pm-4pm and receive a free AS Colour t-shirt featuring an exclusive and limited-edition PHIBS design as well as a drink on arrival. PHIBS will be tagging the free t-shirts on the day, transforming each piece into a raw, one-of-a-kind piece of wearable street art.

“On Saturday 9th August, for one day only, legendary Sydney street artist PHIBS will join forces with The Kraken Black Spiced Rum and premium apparel brand AS Colour for a live art experience that blurs the lines between street art and streetwear.
Taking place at AS Colour’s Newtown store from 12pm-4pm, Sydneysiders aged 18+ are invited to drop in and receive a free AS Colour tee featuring an exclusive, limited-edition PHIBS design. Tees will be dropped hourly, with PHIBS live tagging each one to create bespoke, wearable pieces of street art.
Attendees can also head to the AS Colour courtyard to witness a massive large-scale 4m x 5m mural come to life – made entirely from blank AS Colour tees, transformed by PHIBS live on the day.
Each gifted t-shirt comes with a Kraken Black Spiced Rum & Cola or Kraken Black Spiced Rum & Dry on arrival, offering a taste of the bold spirit behind the creative, amongst courtyard DJ sets all afternoon.
The event is strictly 18+. Valid ID will be required to claim a t-shirt and access the courtyard experience. Limit of one t-shirt per guest.
