The other Art Fair Sydney “Art Reframed” Sunday last day !
When the art world as you knew it went one way, we went the other. Where elitism is the norm, we dared to deviate. Art isn’t confined to convention or rule, and how you enjoy it shouldn’t be either. Forget the typical, white-walled experience. You won’t find VIP ropes outside our door.
Here, art is for everyone. We’ve created something different, and we want you to experience it. We combine original yet affordable works from 130 independent artists with immersive installations, performances, DJs – and a fully stocked bar.
So why not do something impulsive, get excited, and revel in the creativity? You belong here.
“Our art adventure awaits”

We’re known for our immersive art experience — from Art Battles, workshops, live DJ sets, a fully stocked bar, and top Sydney food trucks, there’s something for everyone!

New Futures Awardee – Catherine Weng
Art should never be elite. The New Futures program is part of our continued mission to break down traditional barriers of the contemporary art world by giving prizes to talented, often underrepresented, emerging artists. Each recipient is given free exhibition space at The Other Art Fair along with access to networks and opportunities designed to jump-start their careers.
Catherine Weng is a young emerging artist currently studying for a BA in Fine Art at RMIT. Born in Sydney, she recontextualizes memories of swimming from her childhood in her work. Combined with her fascination with the human body, she experiments with various mediums of textiles, graphite, and paint to create surreal imagery. With the intent of confronting expressions of the human form, she explores themes of the subconscious and existential theory.
Art Battle: Where creativity clashes!
Like nothing you’ve seen before, join us for Art Battle’s live competitive painting! Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes, while you can move around the easels and see the creative process unfold before your eyes! At the end of the round, the audience votes for their fav piece and bids in a silent auction to take the work home!
