| Dear READER,Business NSW has been closely monitoring the impact of the extreme weather and flooding in NSW. We have opened access to our Workplace Advice Line, free to all businesses in NSW impacted by the current flood disaster.
The Advice Line can help you manage issues like employees not being able to work because they cannot travel to work or safely enter the workplace because of flooding.
Normally available to members only, the service will be available for the next four weeks at no charge to all businesses in impacted areas. Call 13 29 59 between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday.
We urge all our members to be prepared and keep safe as the crisis spreads along the coast and into metropolitan areas. If you find yourself in an emergency situation, please follow the advice and direction of the relevant authorities.
We are working closely with our local chambers and the NSW Government to ascertain appropriate support that can be provided through the disaster, clean-up and recovery. |
