Here are just some of the great events happening this week:
- Small Business Networking BBQ (16 October 5:00pm – 6:30pm): Parpera will be holding a networking BBQ event in the Sydney CBD to help you build your network within the business owner community.
- Network Cafe – Building Your Team: The Value of Internships (16 October 5:00pm – 8:00pm): This event held by Western Sydney University in Paramatta will provide you with information on the advantages of employing interns.
- Cybersecurity: Step-by-Step workshop on how to protect your business (17 October 10:30am – 12:00pm): Wollongong City Council will be holding an online workshop to equip you with the tools to safely do business online.
- Leeton Small Business Month – Online Branding (17 October 6:00pm – 9:00pm): Leeton Shire Council and Business Chamber will be holding an event in Leeton on using short-form video as a part of your social media marketing.
- Small Businesses Think BIG With AI! – Digital Marketing Seminar (18 October 12:30pm – 1:30pm): Nimbull Digital Marketing will be holding an online seminar covering strategies to help you get the most out of your website, social media, and AI tools.
- “Shielding Your Small Business: Safeguarding Against Data Breaches and Cyber Threats” (18 October 4:00pm – 7:00pm): Hornsby Chamber of Commerce will be holding an event in Hornsby on how to become cyber savvy and protect your business.
- Telling your story – a communications masterclass (19 October 9:30am – 1:00pm): Ku-ring-gai Council will be holding an event in Lindfield on communicating effectively in a compelling way with keynote speaker Jo O’Reilly.
- The Functioning Farm Office (19 October 10:00am – 12:00pm): Alison Hamilton Coaching will be delivering an online workshop to help you health check your office and will provide information on a range of organisational tools.
- Driving Profits: Tax Essentials for Taxi & Ride-Share Drivers (20 October 12:30 – 1:30): H&R Block will be running on online session on tax obligations for taxi and ride-share drivers.
- How to Start Your Online Business or Take Your Business Online (20 October 12:30pm – 1:30pm): Areti Goddess Events will be holding a webinar which will provide you with the steps to take your business online.
- Acceler8 Cumberland (20 October 5:00pm – 9:30pm): Cumberland City Council and the Greater Cumberland Chamber of Commerce have partnered to hold the Acceler8 Cumberland event in Lidcombe which will feature a keynote speech by the CEO of Cha Time Group.
