Polestar reimagines the drive-in with Australia’s first electric vehicle drive-in cinema event
SYDNEY – 29 March 2023.
Polestar (Nasdaq: PSNY), the Swedish electric performance car brand, will electrify the ‘drive-in’ and host Australia’s first ever electric vehicle drive-in cinema, delivering a much-loved Aussie pastime with a modern twist.
In partnership with Mov’in Car, the pop-up event will take place in Sydney from May 4 – 7 and showcase some of the latest Hollywood blockbusters on the rooftop of the Entertainment Quarter car park.
Moviegoers who drive pure electric vehicles from any brand will have exclusive access to the event, which marks Australia’s first ever electric-vehicle drive-in cinema experience – complete with whisper-quiet battery generators powering the sessions.
For nostalgic guests, organisers have also included a Hollywood classic in the event line-up:
- · Thursday 4th May – Operation Fortune: Ruse De Guerre
- · Friday 5th May – Avatar 2: The Way of Water
- · Saturday 6th May – The Super Mario Bros. Movie
