Two in custody after fatal Ambarvale shooting – Strike Force Apslawn

Police will speak with the media as two men remain in custody arrested after a fatal drive-by shooting in Ambarvale earlier this year.

Detectives attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command launched Strike Force Apslawn to investigate the death of the 65-year-old woman after a public-place shooting at her home in Dickens Road about 11pm on Monday 14 April 2025,

Following extensive inquiries, detectives – with assistance from the Tactical Operations Unit (TOU) – attended a home in Atkinson Street, Liverpool, where a 32-year-old man was arrested. At the same time, a 19-year-old man was arrested at a home in Sudbury Street, Belmore.

 

They were taken to Bankstown Police Station where investigations are ongoing.

 

Police are looking for a third person they believe can assist with the investigation.
