Residents of the Northern Beaches Local Government Area must stay home

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the Northern Beaches area, from 5pm Saturday 19 December until 11.59pm on Wednesday 23 December (subject to health advice), residents of the Northern Beaches Local Government Area must stay home unless it is for the following essential reasons:

• Shopping for food or other goods and services
• Medical care or compassionate needs
• Exercise
• Work or education, where you cannot work or learn from home

If you have symptoms or have visited Northern Beaches locations with confirmed COVID cases please get tested immediately and self isolate.

Please follow the NSW Health advice to help keep your loved ones safe as we head into the festive season.

We thank the thousands of residents who have already been tested and ask for your patience as our health teams work to minimise waiting times at clinics. Additional COVID-19 testing locations have been opened, with many operating seven days a week.
