Join the Carriageworks First Nations Fellowship recipient Henrietta Baird (Kuku Yalandji/Yidinji) at the market for a free planting workshop in the First Nations Garden. In celebration of the 2023 NAIDOC Week theme ‘For our Elders,’ this Saturday Henrietta has invited bush food educator and Elder, Jody Orcher, to speak on the topic of Native Food.

Jannawi Dance Clan return to Carriageworks for weekly cultural dance classes each Sat at 10am, from 22 Jul – 19 Aug. Perfect for children aged 4-9, the classes teach the stories, language, songs and dances from local Sydney custodians. Please note, this is not a drop-and-go class. A parent or carer must be present.
