From Friday to Sunday, our esteemed cheesemongers and ambassadors including Aurore Ghigo and Victoria Lush, will lead a series of masterclasses and cooking demos. Dive deep into the French dedication to cheese, from the art of cutting to the geographical influences on flavours. Enjoy an entertainment line-up as rich and varied as our selection of fine French cheeses. As you sample some of the world’s best French cheeses, you’ll be serenaded by the elegant strains of a solo violinist, grooved by a lively jazz band and French music, and finally, dance the night away with beats from our dynamic DJ. This melodic blend of sounds provides the perfect backdrop for a sensory experience where flavour meets rhythm!

This initiative is a part of the CNIEL’s (the French National Dairy Interbranch Organization) commitment, aided by the European Union, to showcase the variety and distinctiveness of French cheeses to Australians. As a part of this campaign, the Bon Fromage Festival provides Australian consumers with the opportunity to taste, discover, and learn about authentic cheeses from France. The festival also offers free in-person masterclasses hosted by renowned cheesemongers, chefs, and industry specialists. The aim is to inform and guide attendees on how to pair cheeses, integrate them into daily cooking, or simply find out more about their favourites. The Bon Fromage Festival, created by CNIEL in 2016, seeks to expand the knowledge and appreciation of French cheeses among Australian consumers.
