Qatar Airways Partners with Acclaimed Australian Chef, Ross Lusted, for Exclusive Premium Menu to Elevate Inflight Dining Experience

Sydney, Australia – Qatar Airways has unveiled its exclusive new in-flight dining experience curated by Ross Lusted, award-winning Australian chef and owner of Woodcut, Sydney and Marmelo, Melbourne. Set to debut on 12 June 2025, the menu is available on First and Business Class onboard Qatar Airways and its valued partner, Virgin Australia’s, flights departing from Australia to Doha.

First and Business Class passengers will get to enjoy the new exclusive menu that celebrates the best of Australian produce. The new menu reflects Chef Ross’s globally-inspired approach to food, and is underpinned by modern inflight fine-dining through Qatar Airways’ commitment to excellence. Passengers can expect a curated selection of signature dishes, ranging from delicately prepared seafood to numerous meat options, capturing the essence of Chef Ross’s culinary philosophy – clean, bold flavours driven by seasonality and sustainability.

With the new menu going live on 12 June 2025 for all Australian routes to Doha, the menu will be refreshed every three months with Chef Ross’ curation for a total of four menu cycles. Ingredients like meats and produce featured in the menu are all locally-sourced through Australian suppliers in accordance with sustainable practices and seasonality to highlight the best of what Australia offers. This collaboration further enhances Qatar Airways award-winning in-flight offerings and marks a new chapter in its culinary journey, while continuing to spotlight its industry-changing partnership with Virgin Australia.
