Oktoberfest enthusiasts are in for a treat as Munich Brauhaus and The Bavarian gear up to host this extraordinary celebration. From September 21st to October 27th, these renowned venues will transform into lively Oktoberfest havens, promising an unforgettable
experience.
Munich Brauhaus (NSW & VIC) – Dust off your dirndl and lederhosen and join the party at Munich Brauhaus, the ultimate Oktoberfest destination. Patrons can kick off the festivities with Oktoberfest Bier Tasting Towers, featuring four 1L German beers of choice. The Yodelahihi Oktoberfest Platter offers a selection of classic German flavours including pork knuckle, Schweinebraten, and chicken schnitzel, accompanied by Knödel, spätzle and more. Each platter also comes with a complimentary German Alpine hat. A live German oompah band will play traditional Bavarian tunes every evening, as well as host traditional Oktoberfest games and competitions.
The highlight of the festivities will be the big Oktoberfest Street Party in Sydney, and the Oktoberfest Biergarten Party in Melbourne, both taking place on October 19th
. The German Consuls General of Sydney and Melbourne will kick off the parties with an Opening Keg Tap at Munich Brauhaus venues
in The Rocks, NSW and South Wharf VIC. Patrons at both locations will enjoy a day full of live music, traditional German beers and dishes,slap dancers, and Oktoberfest games such as yodeling and stein holding competitions to win gift vouchers. There will be a Mayor of Munich coronation ceremony at both locations, with an honorary keg tap and a $200 gift voucher prize to mark the end of the party, before the festivities continue inside the venues with more live music.
