SPARKLERS AT THE READY IN CELEBRATION OF NSW HOSPITALITY VENUES
The cool rooms are full, kitchen prep is underway, and the champagne is ready to be popped as hospitality venues right across NSW prepare for one of the busiest times of the year.
Shadow Minister for Gaming and Racing Kevin Anderson said pubs and clubs have been preparing for months, readying their venues to host New Years Eve crowds.
“New Years Eve has always been massive for pubs and clubs across metropolitan and regional NSW and this year will be no different,” Mr Anderson said.
“Venues of all sizes have spent months preparing to ensure everyone has a good and safe night out.
“The hospitality industry has proved incredibly resilient over the last few years, having survived unprecedented circumstances through the pandemic, and now with workforce and I will continue to work with industry to support them.”

The NSW Opposition is calling on the Labor Government to restart the good initiatives kicked off by the Liberals and Nationals like free RSA training to attract more staff.
“We know that workforce challenges will remain into the New Year and the Government must be innovative and proactive in their response to those challenges,” Mr Anderson said.
“In the meantime, on behalf of the Coalition, I’d like to thank hospitality workers across NSW.
“While thousands enjoy some well-deserved time off with friends and families at this time of year, hospitality workers are at their busiest, working hard to serve us and we thank them for their efforts.”
