THE PERFECT GIFT

If you’re looking for a last-minute gift, you can’t go past a Sydney Seafood School gift voucher.

We can issue these vouchers on line at various price points and you can have them emailed direct to your recipient. Last-minute never tasted so good!

If you’re organised, you can bundle your gift with one of our fabulous new cookbooks (see below) or with our stunning bespoke linen tea towels. The cut off for orders to guarantee pre-Christmas postal delivery is Thursday 19 December, so be quick!

A FISH FOR ALL SEASONS

You’ve probably already heard us bang on about our new cookbook, A Fish for All Seasons: 35 seafood species you need to love more. We’ve been thrilled with its reception in the media and by the public. We are enormously proud of it and the copies are running out the door.

It includes 100 recipes for under-utilised or lesser loved seafood, with species alternatives for every dish, including a handy chapter on salads, sides and sauces to help create the perfect feast.

We may be biased but we think it’s the perfect Christmas gift.

36 HOUR SEAFOOD MARATHON

Don’t forget the annual 36-hour Seafood Marathon is almost here. From 5am on December 23rd to 5pm on December 24th, Sydney Fish Market will be open non-stop for all your shopping needs.

There’s more than prawns and oysters too, so think big! Our top picks include whole fish such as  a beautiful Coral Trout with a herb butter or Barbecued Murray Cod with Salsa Verde  (you’ll find the recipes for both in our cookbook).

For access, parking and shopping tips, check out this article here.

NEW YEAR, MORE FISH

Sydney Seafood School will be closed from December 20 until the New Year, with our classes resuming on Friday 10 January. Explore the summer schedule here. We look forward to seeing you then. Have a safe and happy Christmas and New Year.
