The Panorama Bar at The International

In November 2024, The Point* Group, responsible for some of Sydney’s favourite establishments including Shell House, opened a new, multi-dimensional destination in Sydney’s CBD. Elevated above Sydney’s social and civic heart at Martin Place, there are three venues that make up The International: The Wine Bar, The Grill and The Panorama Bar.

About The Panorama Bar:

High above Martin Place, situated on the top floor of The International, The Panorama Bar seeks to show off Sydney at its best with views of the sparkling city skyline. Overlooking the zig-zagging of modern and heritage buildings and the towering modernist MLC Building, The Panorama Bar provides a distinct perspective of the city, setting the scene for a quintessential Sydney experience. A vibrant, social destination centred around high end ‘sip and snack’ culture, this is the ideal spot for sun-soaked lunches, golden hour drinks and nighttime fun.

The Panorama Bar offers all day dining and late night drinking. Here, culinary director Joel Bickford and executive chef Danny Corbett play with small plates and light snacks; the cold bar and hot bank of Hibachi grills will provide the basis of the menu which covers snacks of all types (whether on a stick, in a bun, on toast, or on ice). The menu is underpinned with an ever-changing rotation of meat, fish and vegetables on sticks (yakitori style). It also features freshly shucked oysters and raw fish like tuna, kingfish and scallops presented in various formats, crispy fried prawn toast, coal kissed
squid and some heroes such a popcorn lobster roll with togarashi.

A seasonal drinks list includes an impressive selection of cocktails accompanied by a Champagne and Chablis list to ensure first class hydration through summer. Guests can expect unique takes on classic cocktails and a series of fun drinks to suit any mood, from sun-soaked lunches and warm sunsets to nighttime fun.
This approachable rooftop bar is deeply glamorous yet charmingly informal. Consisting of garden terraces that follow Seidler’s famous curvature, there are discoveries around every corner with intimate areas for groups, atmospheric fire pits with comfortable lounges and plenty of space to enjoy the program of Sydney’s best DJs.
