The Royal Hotel has a gourmet offering this July – a degustation menu dedicated to one of Australia’s favourite dishes.

Schnitzels have long been a part of Aussie pub culture but this winter, the Royal Hotel in Paddington is elevating them to gourmet levels. An eight-course degustation menu is served on Saturday 27th July celebrating all things Schnitty, with craft beers from 4 Pines matched to each course. You’ll never think of the Schnitzel as a basic pub classic again!
The Royal’s Schnitzel Degustation Menu
A pub classic and arguably Australia’s national dish, the schnitzel has always been a menu favourite at The Royal. This winter, the pub is taking schnitty’s to the next level with an eight-course degustation menu of gourmet crumbed delights.
Head chef Scott Greve and his team are cooking up a sensational selection including a refreshing Scallop Ceviche Schnitzel with pangrattato crumb, Italian-style Eggplant Schnitzel with Siciliana sauce, Berkshire Pork Cordon Bleu and Milk-Fed Veal Schnitzel as well as the classic Corn-Fed Chicken Schnitzel. Each course is expertly paired with beers from 4 Pines Brewery and the degustation ends on a sweet note with Poached Rhubarb Schnitzel.
The Royal Hotel’s Schnitzel Degustation is held on Saturday 27th July at lunchtime, priced $95 per person.
