Two Good Co to host free Community Open Day at Yirranma Place

Yirranma Place is thrilled to invite the Sydney community to its 3rd Annual Community Open Day on Saturday, 2 November 2024.
Hosted by Two Good Co, and supported by Mary’s Burgers and Fabbrica Bread Shop, this free event invites families and community members to immerse themselves in a day of fun, connection, and exploration at the vibrant social impact precinct.
The Open Day aims to foster stronger neighborhood ties, allowing guests to engage with the individuals and organizations making a difference in the Sydney community. A selection of food offerings will be available from local hospitality favourites including Mary’s Burgers, Fabbrica Bread Shop and Two Good. Mary’s Burgers will be serving smoked brisket scramble and mushroom and cheese scramble, along with Grilla Dogs. Two Good will serve sweet treats from local culinary stars like Danielle Alvarez and Julia Busuttil Nishimura, and Messina will be scooping their beloved local gelato. Fabbrica will host a hands-on cupcake decorating session, which guests can then take home or enjoy on site.
Families can also enjoy a dedicated kids area featuring interactive food experiences, thrilling magic shows, and exciting science experiments. For the adults, there will be a series of inspiring panel discussions with social enterprise and philanthropic organisations, who will share insights about their impactful work.

The Yirranma Place Community Open Day will take place on Saturday, 2 November 2024, from 10 AM to 12 PM, located at 262 Liverpool St, Darlinghurst, NSW 2010.

Two Good Co exists to change the course of the lives of vulnerable women, all inspired by the power of food. Through creating, selling and donating delicious, nutritious food and products, as well as the meaningful employment of women in their kitchens and café, the Sydney-based social enterprise supports women in crisis by believing in them until they believe in themselves again. Two Good has delivered more than 292,000 meals to refuges and shelters since the business began in late 2016 and provided over 83,000 hours of paid work and over $2,480,000 in wages through their Work Work employment program for women living in crisis.
