Elaine Foulsham’s The Land Speaks Exhibition Brings the Australian Bush to Life at NSW Parliament
Discover the raw beauty of Australia’s rugged bush in Elaine Foulsham’s latest exhibition, The Land Speaks, on display now at NSW Parliament until 26 September. The exhibition invites visitors to explore the unique spirit and beauty of the Australian landscape and reflect on the relationship between people and the land.
Foulsham, a celebrated landscape painter known for her deep connection to the Australian bush, presents a series of paintings capturing the vibrant and often untamed essence of the land.
“My work captures the resilience and beauty of the Australian landscape—it’s a place that really speaks to the soul and has its own story to tell,” Foulsham says. “With my pieces, I want to highlight the delicate balance between the harshness of the environment and its incredible ability to bounce back and thrive.”
Mark Hodges MP, who is hosting the exhibition at NSW Parliament, expressed his delight in showcasing Foulsham’s work. “Elaine Foulsham’s art offers a profound reflection on the land that forms such an integral part of our identity as Australians. It is an honour to host her exhibition at NSW Parliament and to provide a platform where her work can inspire and provoke thought among our visitors,” Hodges states.
The Land Speaks is open for viewing on weekdays, between 9:00am and 5:00pm at NSW Parliament House (6 Macquarie Street, Sydney) until 26 September.
Entry is free.
