Dear Reader |
Extreme weather and floods are affecting communities and businesses across the state. Service NSW is here to help with the recovery effort.
Please stay safe and prepared during the storms and regularly check warnings and alerts on the NSW State Emergency Service (NSW SES) website.
Call NSW SES on 132 500 for emergency help. In life-threatening situations, call triple zero (000) immediately.
If you’re under an Evacuation Order, you must wait for NSW SES to issue an ‘All Clear’ for when it’s safe to return to your business premises – remember to take health and safety precautions.

If you’re a retail or other commercial premises tenant, property agent or owner and unsure who is responsible for repairs caused by storm damage, check the terms of your lease agreement to understand repair obligations.
If the property owner and tenant are in dispute and cannot resolve their differences, contact the NSW Small Business Commissioner to discuss options for mediation.
