It’s time to start registering for NSW Small Business Month events!

Registrations are now open for the NSW Small Business Month Expos AND events brought to you by our official collaboration partners. Below are just some examples of the FREE events available to you this October!

Mental Wealth – Psychology of wealth building with MAP Institute (Online, 1 October 6:00pm – 7:00pm): This online session will provide you with tools to aid you in recognising and coping with burnout, handling difficult customers and building stamina.

Small Business Month – Sydney Expo (Sydney, 2 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Sydney Expo will be taking place at the Hilton Sydney and will include Brad Seymour who will be sharing the lessons he’s learnt over three decades of real-world experience across multiple businesses, industries and economic cycles, to help you focus in on the keys to success.

Harnessing the power of your IP to grow your business with IP Australia (Online, 3 October 10:00am – 11:00am): This online workshop will demystify the complex world of Intellectual Property (IP) and provide practical insights on how IP rights can help protect your brand and foster growth.

Small Business Month – Central Coast Expo (Tumbi Umbi, 4 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Central Coast Expo will be taking place at Mingara Recreation Club and will include Abbie White who will be there to provide you with highly practical strategies and simple actions to increase your sales

Podcasting for Success: Boost Your Business and Brand Visibility with Christine Blosdale (Online, 9 October 9:00am – 10:30am): Informative and fun filled online workshop on how to leverage podcasting as a powerful marketing tool for your business.

Small Business Month – Dubbo Expo (Dubbo, 9 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Dubbo Expo will be taking place at Taronga Western Plains Zoo and will include Clarence Slockee of Jiwah and Gardening Australia who will be sharing insights and learnings from his own personal small business journey.

Small Business Month – Northern Rivers Expo (Tweed Heads, 15 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Northern Rivers Expo will be taking place at Twin Towns Clubs & Resorts and will include Therese Tarlinton who will be providing tips and ideas on how to stand out on a small budget by partnering with businesses that already reach your ideal customers and create irresistible marketing strategies.

Charting Your Course: A Guide to Business Strategy for Small Businesses with Australasian Human Capital Development Centre (Online, 15 October 4:00pm – 5:00pm): This online workshop will help you to better understand business strategy, why you need it and how to design one for your business.

Future Planning For Creatives with Creative Plus Business (Online, 17 October 6:00pm – 8:00pm): In this online workshop we will reframe and explain the business and strategic planning process for creative practitioners and arts businesses.

Small Business Month – Wollongong Expo (North Wollongong, 22 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Wollongong Expo will be taking place at the UoW Innovation Campus and will include NSW Small Business Commissioner Chris Lamont who will be diving into the latest trends and insights shaping NSW’s small business landscape.

Elevate your Content with the Power of AI with TAFE NSW Women in Business (Online, 23 October 12:00pm – 1:00pm): Presented by digital marketing expert Laura Prael, this webinar will explore the latest AI writing tools and how they can supercharge your content efforts.

Small Business Month – Batemans Bay Expo (Batemans Bay, 24 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Batemans Bay Expo will be taking place at the Batemans Bay Soldiers and will include Luke Achterstraat (CEO of the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia) who will share the tools needed to defend against cyber threats.

Yearly Success Planning with Australia Business Coaching (Online, 24 October 10:00am – 1:00pm): Join this online workshop to get a head start on your 2025 business plans and learn elite productivity techniques.

Small Business Month – Queanbeyan Expo (Queanbeyan, 29 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Queanbeyan Expo will be taking place at the Royal Hotel Queanbeyan and will include Leanne Shelton who will be presenting her game-changing ideas and prompts that will take your marketing strategies and content to the next level.

Small Business Month – Newcastle Expo (Newcastle, 31 October 1:00pm – 7:00pm): The Newcastle Expo will be taking place at Newcastle City Hall and will include Kim Liddell who will be sharing her business story of building a niche construction business, without prior industry experience, and going onto successfully sell and exit the business.
