Auburn is Turning Pink! 2025 Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival Tickets on sale now

Get ready to snap, stroll and soak up the blossom magic at the 2025 Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival, returning to the stunning Auburn Botanic Gardens on Saturday 16 August to Sunday 24 August.

Tickets to one of Western Sydney’s most Instagrammable flower festivals and loved cultural events are now on sale, a must-see celebration of fusion Japanese culture, mouthwatering food, live entertainment, and peaceful nature escapes, all wrapped up in pink petals and joyful vibes.

The iconic festival attracts thousands of visitors over nine spectacular days each year who come to experience the fairytale wonderland of more than 200 pink cherry blossom trees in full bloom, also known as ‘Sakura’, set against the stunning Japanese Gardens, right in the heart of Cumberland City.

Cumberland Mayor Ola Hamed said the festival is a highlight of the year, drawing thousands of visitors for a once-a-year experience that you can’t find anywhere else in Sydney.

“There’s nothing quite like walking beneath a canopy of cherry blossoms, it’s magical, calming, and unforgettable,” Mayor Hamed said.

“The Sydney Cherry Blossom Festival is more than just a beautiful sight, it’s a celebration of Japanese culture, creativity, and community,”

“From hands on workshops and cultural performances to incredible food and fun for all ages, it’s a fantastic day out for families, friends, and anyone looking to enjoy something truly special.”

Here’s what’s in store this year:

  • Cherry Blossom Trail: A breathtaking walk through over 200 cherry trees, including the beloved Cherry Arbour and Torii Gate
  • Sakura Stage: Live music, Taiko drumming, cultural dance, Ikebana Demonstration and more
