Kick off the season at Carriageworks’ much-loved Summer Seasonal Market on Saturday 7 December, where fresh produce from New South Wales’ top growers and producers takes centre stage. With more than 60 stalls, this vibrant market is offering everything from seasonal fruits and vegetables, such as cherries, watermelons, fresh garlic and squash, to boutique cheeses, plump oysters, farm-fresh eggs, and handcrafted sweets. Adding to the merrymaking, Dural Christmas Tree Farm returns with freshly cut and potted trees, bringing the unmistakable scent of pine and the charm of farm-fresh trees straight to your holiday celebrations.
With a free live program of cooking demonstrations, shoppers can meet the talented makers behind every bite and find new inspiration for a feast that will impress when entertaining friends and family. Celebrated baker, Nadine Ingram of Flour and Stone, will share a summery cake recipe from her brand-new cookbook, Love Crumbs. Tommy Prosser from Crustacean Nation will help you wow your guests with a crispy sushi rice waffle recipe, and Demoiselle Distillery’s Darran Baker will share his favourite three cocktail recipes for festive entertaining.
Celebrate the Yuletide magic at the Carriageworks Christmas Market on Saturday 21 December, a one-day-only extravaganza with extended shopping hours. Explore more than 100 stalls, including your Farmers Market favourites alongside a range of special guest vendors. Whether you’re looking for the perfect gift, stocking up on treats, or gathering specialty ingredients for your Christmas menu, this bustling market has everything you need, just days before Christmas.
Create a dream Christmas hamper with chocolates, pickles, preserves, wines, spirits, and more, and complete the holiday gift list with food-related giftware, such as handcrafted ceramics and tableware. DJs will set the joyful atmosphere with festive tunes, plus family-friendly entertainment and a range of delicious ready-to-eat options will be on offer. Fan favourites like AP Bakery, Hotluck, Condimental, Broomfield Pies, Crustacean Nation and Kepos St Kitchen will be joined by special guest stalls including Lox in a Box, Maru Okonomiyaki, and the MAPO gelato van – all serving up tasty treats. This is where Sydney comes together to celebrate.

The Carriageworks Christmas Market marks the final Carriageworks Farmers Market of 2024. The weekly market will return from Saturday 11 January.
